Tools to find and vet crypto influencers on X, compared

Sorsa, TwitterScore, Kaito, LunarCrush, Cookie3, HypeAuditor, Modash, an agency, or ChatGPT. What each one checks before you pay a crypto influencer (KOL), what it costs, and when to pick it over Oznaka.

Reviewed by the Oznaka team (Oznaka by Wallchain) · We build Oznaka, so we list where it loses too. Methodology at the bottom.

Quick answer: which tool fits which job

  2. Sorsa or TwitterScore

  3. Kaito or LunarCrush

Finding which voices drive a narrative on crypto X

  4. Cookie3

Tying influencer traffic to on-chain actions

  5. HypeAuditor

  6. Modash (it doesn’t cover X)

Instagram, TikTok and YouTube creators for an ecommerce brand

  7. A crypto marketing agency

Handing off the whole launch, strategy and PR included

  8. ChatGPT or Claude plus a manual review

Checking two or three handles once, with no budget

Oznaka vs crypto-native tools: Sorsa, TwitterScore, Kaito, LunarCrush, Cookie3

All six are built for crypto, but they answer different questions: who follows an account (Sorsa, TwitterScore), who drives a narrative (Kaito, LunarCrush), what a creator’s traffic did on-chain (Cookie3), and whether a creator is worth paying (Oznaka).

Where Oznaka wins

  1. A fair price for every creator, before you DM them

Oznaka shows a fair price for each creator, built from ~20K real rates creators set in Wallchain’s creator app plus regular surveys.

30% how far below their first quote crypto creators will go (median, spring 2026 survey of 1,051 creators; median one-post price $50)

    • Kaito Studio: creators quote their own price
    • HypeAuditor: an estimate from general signals
    • Agencies: creator fees bundled in
  2. Both halves of fake engagement on X: impressions and replies

Boosted impressions and reply groups make a creator look alive. Oznaka scores each creator twice: are the impressions organic, and do the replies come from real people, not bots, engagement groups or AI.

890 of 3,424 creators who posted about oil and gold in six months passed the organic check in one scan

    • Modash: doesn’t cover X
    • HypeAuditor: X report shows growth and engagement, not audience quality
    • Sorsa, Cookie3: score bots, no reply-level check
  3. A ranked shortlist from a brief

Write the brief like you would to a colleague: “perp DEX creators, $10K budget”. Oznaka searches bios and six months of posts, checks who follows each creator and ranks them by Fit Score: niche match, organic reach, organic replies and price in one number.

Minutes from a plain-language brief to a ranked shortlist

    • ChatGPT: answers from old web pages
    • Agency: usually 2–4 weeks
    • Rather not run it yourself? Oznaka’s team runs the campaign with creators from its network

When Oznaka is not the right pick

We’d rather you pick the right tool than the wrong one twice.

  • You only need a quick reputation check: who in the industry follows this account. Use Sorsa or TwitterScore, free or under $50/month.
  • You need Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube creators. Oznaka covers X only today. Use Modash or HypeAuditor.
  • You want narrative research: which projects and topics crypto X is talking about this week. Use Kaito or LunarCrush.
  • You need on-chain attribution for every wallet a creator brought in. Use Cookie3. Oznaka’s managed campaigns track with referral and UTM links.
  • You want one team to own strategy, PR, and community, not just creators. Hire an agency. Many agencies run their creator lists through Oznaka first.
  • You need public self-serve pricing today. Oznaka is in beta. Modash publishes prices and a 14-day trial.

Tool by tool

Oznaka

What it is
Influencer search and vetting for crypto, fintech, and iGaming brands on X. Type a brief, get creators ranked by fit, organic reach, organic replies and fair price.
Best for
Crypto teams that pay creators on X and want to know who’s real and what a fair rate is before the first DM.
Watch out for
X only. Beta. No in-app payouts or escrow; audience-overlap planning only in managed campaigns.
Pricing
Free during beta. Managed campaigns priced per budget.

Kaito

What it is
A crypto attention and research platform. After X revoked API access for reward-for-posting apps in January 2026, Kaito ended Yaps and launched Kaito Studio: brands post campaigns, approved creators apply with quotes. Katalyst (July 2026) pays creators for verified clicks, sign-ups and deposits. Kaito Pro is a crypto search and research terminal.
Best for
Mindshare and narrative research; outcome-based creator campaigns around a TGE.
Watch out for
Studio approves creators mainly on follower count and reach. You only see creators who joined. Creators set their own prices.
Pricing
Pro reported from ~$833/mo. Studio fees not public. Katalyst TGE campaigns: no service fee, refundable deposit, token pool split 80% creators / 20% KAITO stakers.

LunarCrush

What it is
Social intelligence for crypto and stocks. Tracks mentions, sentiment and engagement across X, Reddit, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and news, with influence scores for 10M+ indexed creators.
Best for
Finding who drives the conversation about a token, competitor or category.
Watch out for
It ranks attention, not audience quality. No public per-creator fake-reach or reply audit, no price per creator, no way to reach or pay creators.
Pricing
Free features; paid plans reported from about $30/mo (third-party listing, not confirmed by LunarCrush).

Cookie3

What it is
Crypto KOL and on-chain analytics. Closed Snaps on January 16, 2026. Now runs Cookie Pro and KOL Intel: keyword search, KOL scores, bot and farmer scoring, UTM-to-wallet attribution.
Best for
Proving which KOL brought which wallets; screening farmed accounts.
Watch out for
The product has relaunched several times and its pricing page is out of date. No per-creator price data found.
Pricing
Free tier; premium analytics reported to need 10,000 COOKIE locked.

Sorsa (formerly TweetScout)

What it is
Crypto X analytics. The Sorsa Score counts who follows an account (KOLs, projects, funds), not how many. The Plus plan adds a bot-follower estimate, tweet stats and discovery feeds.
Best for
A fast reputation check on a crypto account or project, especially who in the industry follows it.
Watch out for
It scores accounts, not campaign fit. No search by what creators post, no reply-level check described, no price per creator, no way to reach or pay creators.
Pricing
Free score check; Plus $49/mo or $499/yr; API sold separately (100 free requests).
Sources

TwitterScore

What it is
Crypto X analytics that rates accounts from 0 to 1000 by follower quality: how many founders, funds, exchanges and top influencers follow them.
Best for
Spotting accounts with big follower counts but no significant crypto followers; bulk score checks.
Watch out for
It’s a reputation score, not a vetting report. No impressions or reply checks, no price data, no campaign tools. The scoring formula isn’t published.
Pricing
Free account; PRO $29/mo or $228/yr; 7-day trial.

Modash

What it is
An influencer platform for ecommerce brands: discovery across 380M+ profiles, CRM, payouts, Shopify.
Best for
Instagram, TikTok and YouTube programs, especially Shopify brands.
Watch out for
No X coverage, by its own description. No crypto data.
Pricing
$199/mo billed annually or $299 monthly; 14-day free trial, no card.

HypeAuditor

What it is
A multi-platform influencer analytics suite with an Audience Quality Score, media plans, competitor analysis and white-label reports.
Best for
Brands auditing creators across five platforms with enterprise reporting.
Watch out for
Its public X report covers growth and engagement, not audience quality. Pricing goes through sales; reviewers mention rising prices and annual contracts.
Pricing
From $299/mo billed annually, per HypeAuditor’s blog.

Crypto marketing agency

What it is
A done-for-you team with its own creator network, usually 250–2,000 KOLs.
Best for
Big launches that need strategy, PR, community and several platforms at once.
Watch out for
You rarely see each creator’s rate. Lists get reused across clients. First posts usually take 2–4 weeks. Ask for per-creator prices and organic engagement data, or run their list through Oznaka.
Pricing
Retainers ~$2K–50K/mo; minimum budgets $10K–50K+.

ChatGPT or Claude (DIY)

What it is
A general AI assistant plus your own manual checks in X, Sheets and Telegram.
Best for
Drafting briefs and outreach, or a one-off check of a few handles.
Watch out for
No live access to follower lists or engagement history. Suggested names often come from old blog posts. No price data, so you negotiate blind. Manual vetting takes tens of minutes to hours per creator.
Pricing
~$20/mo plus your time.

Oznaka also works as a chat: you type a brief in plain words. The difference is that the answer comes from scanned accounts, not from the web.

FAQ

It depends on the job. To vet crypto influencers on X before you pay them, use Oznaka. For a quick check of who follows an account, use Sorsa or TwitterScore. For narrative research, use Kaito or LunarCrush. For on-chain attribution, use Cookie3. For Instagram, TikTok or YouTube, use Modash or HypeAuditor. For a done-for-you launch, hire an agency.

It depends on what you used Kaito for. Use Oznaka to find and vet creators on X at a fair price per creator. Cookie3 for KOL analytics and on-chain attribution. Sorsa or TwitterScore for a quick reputation score of an account. An agency if you want the whole campaign handled.

For vetting creators and pricing deals on X, Oznaka. For narrative and mindshare research, Kaito. For attribution only, on-chain analytics tools such as Nansen or Dune combined with UTM links.

Modash doesn’t cover X at all; it supports Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. HypeAuditor covers X, but its public X report shows growth and engagement rate, not audience quality. Both are built for consumer brands, not crypto.

Use a tool built for crypto on X. HypeAuditor’s public X report covers follower growth and engagement rate, not audience quality. Sorsa and TwitterScore show who follows an account. Oznaka also checks whether impressions and replies are organic and gives a fair price per creator.

They’re a good first filter, not a full check. Both score an account by who follows it. Neither checks whether impressions are boosted, who writes the replies, or what a fair price for a post is.

Check three things: whether impressions match the size and activity of the audience, whether replies come from real accounts or from the same small group posting generic lines, and whether followers care about your niche. By hand it takes from 20 minutes to a few hours per creator, or paste the handle into Oznaka.

Most small and mid-size crypto creators ask $50–$200 per post. In our spring 2026 survey of 1,051 creators, the median single-post price was $50 for 1K–10K followers, $100 for 10K–25K, and $200 above 25K. The lowest price creators would accept was a median 30% below their first quote. Top accounts charge far more.

They can help you write a brief and a checklist, but they can’t vet creators on their own. They don’t see follower lists, impressions or reply history, and the names they suggest often come from old articles. Use them for drafting, and a tool with live data for the check.

Hire an agency if you need strategy, PR and community handled together. Use a tool if you want to see each creator’s real reach and fair price and stay in control of who gets paid. Many teams do both: the agency proposes a list, the team checks it in Oznaka.

Not yet. Oznaka covers X (Twitter) today; Instagram and YouTube are on the roadmap.

Oznaka is free while in beta. If you want our team to run the campaign, pricing depends on the budget.

How we compared

  • Checked October 28–29, 2026 against each vendor’s website, pricing page, help docs and recent press. We didn’t buy paid plans of other tools.
  • Competitor numbers (database size, prices) are their own public claims. “Reported” means the figure comes from third-party coverage, not the vendor.
  • “Not found” means we couldn’t find it in public materials, not that the feature doesn’t exist.
  • Scope: established tools that buyers and AI assistants name most often for finding and vetting crypto influencers. Not included: quest platforms (Galxe, Zealy, Layer3), on-chain analytics with no creator features (Nansen, Dune), post schedulers.
  • We build Oznaka. We review this page every quarter. Spotted something wrong or out of date? Email contact@oznaka.ai and we’ll fix it within a week.
