How Oznaka Runs Influencer Campaigns

Oznaka is a creator search and vetting tool. If you also need execution, our team runs the campaign for you. Here's how it works, what it costs, and what we won't promise.

How Oznaka Runs Influencer Campaigns

We're building Oznaka to help you source creators, evaluate audience fit, benchmark pricing, and understand who actually influences your market. You describe the audience you need, and it shows you which creators on X actually reach them, how organic their replies and impressions are, and what a fair post price looks like.

Many teams that try it ask the next question straight away: can you also run the campaign? We can. Our team has run creator campaigns for crypto projects at Wallchain for 3 years, and we still run them end to end for clients who'd rather not manage creators themselves.

This post explains how that works. It's written from the questions we hear on almost every call, so if you're deciding whether to hand us a campaign, we should cover most of your doubts below.

How a managed campaign runs

A typical campaign takes about a month from the first call to the last post. These are the steps.

  1. We narrow the brief. "Ethereum DeFi" is too broad to find the right creators. "People with open loans on Aave or Morpho" is something we can search for. We also look at your landing page, onboarding, and offer, because creators can only send people somewhere. If that page doesn't convert, more posts won't fix it.
  2. You prepay five business days before launch. That gives us time to set up the campaign and line up creators.
  3. We announce the campaign to our creator network. We send it privately to about 20,000 creators through our Telegram bot, and the best matches also get a direct message on X.
  4. Creators apply. Pretty straightforward.
  5. We shortlist, you choose. Thousands of creators usually apply. We rank them by fit and send you the top 50-150, with organic reach, niche match, and a price for each. You pick who gets paid, up to your budget.
  6. You approve every draft. You write the brief (we help), creators write in their own words, and nothing goes live without your sign-off.
  7. Posting starts one to two weeks after the announcement. Usually, each creator makes four posts over two to four weeks.
  8. We track who converts. After each round of posts, we match sign-ups to creators through your referral links or UTMs. We also repost the best content from our own channels.

How we pick creators

We start by removing accounts with bought or farmed metrics, and in crypto, that's a lot.

For the creators who pass, we look at three things:

  • Organic replies and impressions. Are real people replying, or bots and AI accounts that reply to everyone?
  • Niche match. We pull a creator's followers and check who those followers follow. If a client sells perp trading, we want creators whose audience already follows perp DEXs.
  • Content history. Has the creator posted about this topic before, and more than once? "Wrote about OTC trading at least twice in the last three months" is a typical filter.

Then we mix sizes depending on your intake and campaign objectives. Some projects prefer bigger creators to bring trust and reach. Some prefer a larger group of niche creators, often under 10K followers, to engage them in their products, build ambassador programs, or test the channel at lower CPM rates.

What we still do by hand

Some of the analysis isn't in the app yet, so for now we only run it inside managed campaigns. The main one is audience overlap. Two creators can share a large part of the same audience, and then you're paying twice to reach the same people. We calculate overlap across your shortlist and build the lineup for your goal: maximum reach (as many unique people as possible) or frequency (the same audience hearing about you several times). In our research on prediction-market creators, first published on the Wallchain blog, this approach delivered 3.7x more niche reach for less than half the cost of a lineup picked by follower count.

What results to expect

We don't guarantee KPIs, and you should be careful with anyone who does before seeing your data. Results depend on your product, your offer, and how well your onboarding converts. If you share past conversion rates, we can estimate a range. Without them, any number would be a guess.

What we can show is how past campaigns went. Prophet, a new prediction market, ran a campaign with 18 creators and 72 posts. It cost $9.86 per thousand impressions versus a typical $70+ for crypto creators and brought more than 2,000 new users, according to Prophet's own tracking.

During the campaign, you get a report after each round of posts and a final report at the end of the campaign.

FAQ | Questions we hear on almost every call

No. You approve the shortlist, the brief, and every draft. We do suggest giving creators a guide rather than a script. Posts written in their own words get more trust from their audience than copy that reads like a press release.

Yes. We'll run it through the same checks as our own shortlist and show you who has a real, relevant audience.

Yes, when the goal needs them. We combine two approaches: we have our own network of creators and build a separate reach roster for each campaign, based on your niche, needs, goals, and suggestions.

X at the moment, with more to come. We started with Twitter because that's where crypto audiences are.

Your own profile. People check the account a creator points them to. Sort out the verified badge, show your backers and partners, and pin a clear post that explains the product. Your product should be tested, and the funnel analytics should work too, especially if you build your campaign around performance metrics.
